I’d been eyeing up some silvery Summery decor objects in stores and on TV earlier this Spring, like shells and starfish and stuff, but I didn’t pick any up because I wasn’t quite in the Summer frame of mind yet at that point.Once I was ready to start adding some decor into my new grey living room though, I went looking for some of those silver Summery things and they were nowhere to be found!

I had some of this Rustoleum Mirror Effect spray paint.

on hand for another project that I’ve been trying to do for about 8 months or so and I thought I’d experiment with it a bit and see what happened.. Rust-Oleum 267727 Specialty Mirror Spray, 6-Ounce.I don’t really know why it works, but it does!

🙂 Try this one out for yourself!OK, I think I’m ready. After months and months of hard-ish work, I’m ready to show you the final big-deal before-and-after of Kennedy’s new room..

I couldn’t jump into that without first dedicating a post to my favorite part of the room.I just couldn’t.
